About the Role

The ERP Business Systems Analyst is responsible for understanding and analyzing functional business needs, then translating those needs into functional and system requirements for the IFS ERP software system, ensuring seamless implementation and optimization of the solution by collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, document specifications, and provide expert knowledge on system features/function to deliver a solution that aligns with our company’s business objectives. This position will be responsible for performing analysis, changes, and daily functional support of the IFS ERP system in a variety of events, including but not limited to implementation, upgrades, migrations, and optimizations.
What you'll do: 
Requirement Gathering:
As a trusted internal consultant, conduct in-depth analysis of client business processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement, and gathering detailed functional requirements. 

Solution Design:
Design and document the IFS system configuration to meet client needs, including mapping business processes to system functionalities. 

Technical Specification Development:
Create technical specifications for system customizations or integrations based on client requirements. 

Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. 

Data Analysis:
Analyze existing data to identify trends and inform system design decisions, specifically with our underlying SQL data in the company Data Warehouse. 

Testing and Quality Assurance:
Participate in system testing phases to validate functionality against requirements and identify potential issues. 

Production Cutover Migration Execution:
Help plan, manage, and coordinate production deployment plans as well as updates or patches in support of the IFS ERP system including occasional off-hours support.  

Training and Support:
Provide training and support to end-users on the implemented IFS system.

Requirements

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

  • 5 - 7 years’ experience in CPG food / beverage industry with hands-on ERP systems support and related initiative delivery, IFS-specific experience a plus.  

  • 3 – 5 years’ hands-on experience and familiarity with ERP application modules (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Warehouse/Inventory, Production, Logistics, etc.), system setup and implementation, IFS-specific experience a plus.  

  • Business process and requirements documentation skills, including familiarity with Use Cases, Functional Requirements, Test Cases and the SDLC.

  • Familiarity with TSQL and comfort with querying SQL Server databases a plus.   

  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting moderately complex business-related operational issues and coordinating cross functional department responses to deliver solutions.

  • Knowledge of project management principles.  

  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientation. Must be able to prioritize and focus effort appropriately.   

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a history of successful internal and external interactions with stakeholders. 

  • Exceptional ability to exercise tact and discretion in internal and external interpersonal contacts while respecting confidentiality of privileged information.
