About the Role

SUMMARY: The Business Systems Support Analyst is responsible for supporting the ERP system and configuring the ERP application and client devices (such as computers and printers) to meet the business needs. This role communicates directly with all functional areas within the organization to ensure the proper resolution of ongoing issues and requires understanding of the business and its processes. Actively supports the Company’s vision and goals. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Experience in filed / related field, and/or a combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with other team members.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Advanced computer skills.

TRAVEL: For business intelligence conferences, less than 10% travel.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following: other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner.

 Provides support for the ERP solution and its associated applications.

 Utilize inside and outside learning opportunities to enhance understanding of the company’s

processes and needs.

 In-depth knowledge of core application functionality.

 In-depth knowledge of specific functionality like the manufacturing module.

 Troubleshooting, technical support, and system maintenance.

 Business process understanding.

 Understands and follows development best practices and ensures that modifications are documented

 Business analysis skills / industry knowledge.

 Knowledge of how to conduct workshops and training sessions and motivation to stay abreast with the latest technologies.

 Configuration of the product to meet the needs of the business.

 Experience with EDI.

 Initial test of the developed functionality.

 Function testing of the developed functionality system testing skills.

 Knowledge about technical aspects of the ERP system.

 An active participant with ERP user groups with a focus on becoming a subject matter expert/leader.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises self in accordance with organizational goals. All team members are expected to self-supervise and adhere to while enforcing all IT policies.
